The police authorities filed a report and categorically submitted that the police authorities acted on the basis of an intimation received from the Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation with regard to an unauthorized construction. The police report is taken on record.

Such contention of the police authorities is denied by the petitioner, and the Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation is in the dark.

In any case, as the police authorities have submitted that they do not have any interest to proceed against the construction of the petitioner, nothing further remains to be decided in the writ petition as the grievance of the petitioner does not survive.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dispose of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
