Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of the case being complaint case no. 5454 of 2018 pending before the learned 10th Judicial Magistrate, Alipore, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite parties. The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case.

It appears that the case is pending since 2018 and the next date of recording of plea fixed on 2nd September, 2024. In view of the above, the revisional application, being CRR 3377 of 2024 is disposed of directing the learned trial Court to dispose of the case being complaint case no. 5454 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.
