(Via Video Conference) Mr. Snehasis Jana .....For the Respondent No.3 Mr. Snehasis Jana, learned advocate appears for the respondent no.3 and produces photocopy of death certificate issued by Ghatal Municipality showing the death of Parbati Paul on 08.08.2014 and further submits that appeal has abated by operation of law. As no step has been taken on behalf of the appellant after the appeal was admitted on 16.09.2002 and the appeal is pending since 2000, the second appeal being, S.A.T. 4159 of 2000 is dismissed for non-prosecution for the reason of abatement of appeal by operation of law.
