Petitioners complain that in a mass petition the signatures of the petitioners were forged. To that effect, a representation was made before the Superintendent of Police, Krishnanagar Police District, Officer-in-Charge, Dhubulia Police Station and SDPO, Krishnanagar Sub-Division.

In view of the contentions advanced by the petitioners, the authenticity so far as the three petitioners are concerned relating to their signatures be ascertained and the police authorities would dispose of their representation thereafter in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 20194 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
