Mr. Suman Ghosh Ms. R. Laha Petitioner is aggrieved by the progress of Shyampur PS Case No. 413 of 2025 dated 21.07.2025. According to the petitioner, the lady has duped many individuals under the garb of marriage, taken away the jewelleries as well as the stridhan articles and thereafter fled away.

Learned advocate for the State submits that on investigation, prima facie, materials reveal regarding the truth alleged to the complaint which has been registered. Police authorities have already registered statement of the previous so-called marriages as well as the present complaint.

Having considered that the police authorities have already taken steps so far as the investigation is concerned, I am of the view that the police authorities will put in efforts to recover the so-

called stridhan articles which the police authorities claim were obtained by deception.

Be that as it may, the police authorities are investigating the case, they would ensure that a free, fair and impartial conclusion be arrived at the conclusion of investigation. In case, the police authorities are faced with any inconveniences in course of investigation, they would seek the assistance of the Superior Officers of the Police. With the aforesaid observations WPA 19523 of 2025 is disposed of.
