GP Mr. Debapriya Chatterjee Mr. Tirthankar Dey ... for the State - respondent(s) The petitioners before this court are South Eastern Coalfields Limited which complains that at Dankuni Coal Complex, there have been encroachment, illegal and/or unauthorized constructions taking place and, inspite of informing the police authorities, no steps are being taken.

So far as the unauthorized constructions are concerned, if the petitioners complain to the concerned administrative office(s), necessary police help be rendered as and when sought by that administration.

So far as the encroachment is

concerned, the police authorities would check the records and, at the inception, would assist the petitioners in resisting any sort of encroachment.

However, in case, fresh complaints are made relating to the same issue, the police authorities would take prompt steps as directed above.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 19692 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
