From the report filed by the District Inspector of Schools (Primary Education), Howrah dated 25th January, 2022 it appears that the documents relating to the pension file of late Manoranjan Samanta, the deceased husband of the petitioner, has already been processed and has been submitted to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance on 21st January, 2022 for issuing Pension Payment Order vide Memo No. 21/DIPE dated 20th January, 2022, as admissible as per law, subject to the consideration of the Pension Payment Order issuing authority.

As it appears that the prayer of the petitioner for issuance of family pension is under active consideration and has been substantially processed, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and

Group Insurance to take steps in the matter strictly, in accordance with law, at the earliest, but positively within a period of ten weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of.

The instruction given by the District Inspector of Schools, Primary Education, Howrah dated 25th January, 2022 be retained with the records.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on completion of usual formalities.
