Case No. 301 of 2023 dated 11.07.2023 under Sections 135/138 of the Electricity Act, 2003. And In the matter of: Ramesh Shaw @ Rames Shaw ....petitioner.

1. Heard learned Counsel for both the parties.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner undertakes to pay 50 per cent of the demand (provisional/final) of Rs.3,29,455/- within six weeks from today.

3. Regard being had to such facts and submissions and nature of offence, it is directed that the petitioner shall be released on bail by the Arresting Officer in the event of his arrest in the aforesaid P.S. case on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, including the condition that i) The petitioner shall file a copy of the receipt of the payment of 50 per cent of the aforesaid amount before the I.O within fifteen days of the deposit/payment of the amount.

4. The concerned Arresting Officer is hereby directed to act upon the server copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the prayer for the anticipatory bail is allowed.
