The writ petitioner is aggrieved that he was assaulted by certain persons while he was plying a vehicle under a route permit from Bhimgarh to Purulia Bus Stand.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that his client sustained injuries and an FIR No. 82 of 2022 dated 13th May, 2022 with the Purulia Town Police Station. It is ordered that the investigation into the aforesaid FIR be completed expeditiously and final report be submitted before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of two months from date. In so far as the other reliefs and issues as regards the legality of the petitioner's permit and his right to ply the vehicle are concerned, the same may be agitated before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

Since affidavits have not been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition shall not be deemed to have been admitted, by the respondents. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
