The writ petition has been preferred praying for regularization of the services of the petitioners as Group-C and Group-D employees of the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) with all consequential benefits, including fixation of pay, arrears of pay, seniority, and service security.

3. Further relief has been prayed for implementation of Finance Department Memorandum No. 1091-F(P2) dated 01.03.2024 by revising the remuneration of the petitioners in accordance with the prescribed

structured pay scales for contractual employees with more than fifteen years of continuous service, granting arrears, annual increments, and all related financial and service benefits and another connected reliefs. 4.

In course of hearing, it is submitted by the Learned Counsel for the petitioners that they have filed a representation before the respondent Authorities on 31st July, 2025. It is submitted that till date the Authority concerned has not disposed of the said representation. It is prayed that the Court may direct that the representation dated 31st July, 2025 be considered by the Authorities concerned.

On hearing the parties, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the concerned respondent Authorities shall dispose of the representation dated 31st July, 2025 submitted by the petitioner within days from the date of communication of this order, on hearing the parties and by passing a reasoned order in accordance with law.

6. In case, the copy of the representation is not available with the Authority concerned the petitioner is

at liberty to file a copy of the same which shall be disposed of, as directed by this Court.

7. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merit of the case.

The Writ application stands disposed of.

9. Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently.

10. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

11. Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
