1. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and is in no way connected with the commission of the alleged offence.

3. Learned counsel for the State produces the Case Diary. 4.

Considering the materials in the Case Diary and the nature of complicity of the petitioner in the alleged offence and the medical report which does not reveal any poisoning and charge sheet has already been filed, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner, namely, Salman Khan, shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also subject to the conditions as laid Signed By :

down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 corresponding to Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023 and the petitioner shall meet the I.O. once in a fortnight till the submission of the final report.

It is further directed that the petitioner shall appear before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Paschim Medinipur within two weeks from date.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is disposed of. 8.
