Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of Case No.C13300 of 2014 pending before the Metropolitan Magistrate, 11th Court, Calcutta, presently re-designated as the learned Judicial Magistrate, 11th Court, Calcutta, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite parties. The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case.

This Court is informed that the accused have been examined under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Considering the age of the proceeding, the learned trial Court is directed to take the necessary steps for securing the attendance of accused no.1 before him and make all endeavours to take the proceedings to its logical conclusion as expeditiously as possible,

preferably within four months from the next date of hearing fixed before him, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

CRR 3387 of 2024 is disposed of.
