1. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they are in custody for more than a year. It is further submitted there is no direct evidence connecting them with the murder. Accordingly, they pray for bail.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposes the prayer for bail.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show body of the victim was recovered from the room occupied by the petitioners. They were seen secreting themselves in a neighbouring house. Keeping in mind the aforesaid incriminating circumstance and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage.
