Heard counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners refers to an email dated February 14, 2017 sent by Uttam Kumar Shaw, Law Officer, Kolkata Improvement Trust to the petitioners.

It is to be noted that no original copy of this order is on record. Petitioners had accordingly sought for a copy of the order by a letter dated February 15, 2019. Upon not receiving the same from the respondent authorities, he made an application under Section 5 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 dated March 12, 2019 seeking the said document. To such application, there is no reply filed by the authority concerned. Thereafter, an appeal has also been filed by the petitioner dated May 30, 2019 to which no reply was filed by the authority concerned.

In light of the same, the authorities below are directed to supply the petitioner with the answer sought for along with documents, if any, as per his letter dated March 12, 2019 within a period of four weeks from date.

The petitioner shall be at liberty to act in accordance with law upon receipt of the said information from the authority concerned.

With these observations, WPA 18319 of 2019 is disposed of.
