None appears on behalf of the State respondents on call. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of subject Work Education (PASS) at Maharampur Matilal Vidyamandir High School (H.S), Khanpur, District-Hooghly, she has applied for general transfer through 'Utsashree Portal' on the ground that the distance between her residence and the school since is more than 115 kilometres, she is unable to look after her dependent family members. The School authority has refused to issue 'No-Objection' to the said prayer on the grounds that the petitioner is the single teacher of the subject in the school and that she is not coming within 10% of the teaching staff of the school, consequently, the West Bengal Central School Service Commission has rejected the application of the petitioner.

Mr. Ujjal Ray, learned advocate for the petitioner strenuously argues that the ground of rejection is not sustainable. Be that as it may, the "Utsashree Portal" is now under suspension, as such the prayer of the petitioner for general transfer cannot be considered at this stage.

W.P.A. 19949 of 2022 is therefore dismissed without any order as to costs.
