The writ petition had been filed alleging inaction on the part of the Officer-in-Charge, Dum Dum Police Station.

Today, a report has been filed by the Officer-inCharge, Dum Dum Police Station, inter alia, indicating that on the basis of a complaint filed by the petitioner, Dum Dum Police Station Case No. 315 of 2016, dated April 14, 2016, under Sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code had been registered against the respondent no. 5. After completion of the investigation, a charge-sheet has been filed against the respondent no. 5 vide Dum Dum Police Station Charge-Sheet No. 30/18, under Sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code. The case is sub judice.

Under such circumstances, nothing further remains to be decided in the writ petition. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum under the law at the appropriate stage. The police report is taken on record.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the server copy of this order.
