The petitioner alleges that the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Daspur-II Block has ousted the petitioner form the office. The petitioner claims to be a licenced clerk, who had been working in the said office. The allegation is that the police authorities did not act on the basis of the complaint filed by the petitioner and thereby denied the right of the petitioner to continue to function as a clerk in the office of the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer.

Learned Advocate for the respondents submits that the petitioner was at one point of time functioning as a clerk in the

said office. The licence expired sometime in 2019. The police authorities do not have a role to play.

Having heard the learned Advocates for the respective parties, it appears that the prayers of the petitioner cannot be granted at this stage. However, the petitioner will be at liberty to approach the District Magistrate, Paschim Medinipur with his complaint. If such complaint is filed the same shall be disposed of accordingly.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

In view of disposal of the writ petition the connected application has become infructuous and the same is disposed of accordingly.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
