Learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners did not participate in the incident. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. He submits that all the petitioners are named as the assailants in the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Considering the gravity of the offence, the complicity of the petitioners therein as appearing in the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Consequently, CRM 8675 of 2021 is rejected.
