The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police authorities being the Inspector-inCharge, Budge Budge Police Station, no steps have been taken. Information was sent to the superior officers of the police also. However, the police authorities remained dormant. Learned Advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that the Title Suit No. 7973 of 2023 was filed by one Samar Mondal and the information relating to same was to be served upon by the police authorities.

However, the police authorities were unnecessarily roped in with allegations which according to the report reflects to have been baseless and far from any truth. With regard to the dispute amongst the parties a proceeding under Section 126 of the BNSS has started.

Having regard to the fact that such representation was submitted more than a year ago, I am of the view that at this stage no interference by this court is called for. With the aforesaid observations, WPA No. 20251 of 2024 stands disposed of.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the records.
