The petitioners are said to be agents of the organization involved in the commission of the alleged offences. According to the petitioners they were just employees of the said organization.
The petitioners were arrested in April, 2022. Investigation is complete.
Charge sheet has been filed.
Although, Mr. Bapuli, learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that further investigation is going on and a supplementary charge sheet may have to be filed, nothing substantial has been disclosed before the Court to show that any material would come out of further investigation.
In such circumstances, we allow this application for bail. Considering all the above circumstances, we direct that the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties each of like amount, on of whom must be local, to
the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore, South 24 Parganas, subject to the following conditions :-
1. The petitioners are to deposit their passports, if they have one, with the investigating agency within three days from date:
2. They will meet the investigating officer as and when summoned and also to cooperate in any further investigation.
3. They will not leave the limits of Kolkata without informing the investigating officer.
4. They will not tamper with evidence or interfere with the witnesses in any manner.
5. The petitioners will attend the court on each and every day of trial, in default the court shall be at liberty to cancel their bail bond in accordance with law without further reference of this court.
The application for bail (CRM (DB) 2973 of 2022) is, accordingly, disposed of.
