Petitioners are the aged parents of the respondent nos. 9 and 10. Number of criminal cases inter se between the parties have been registered at Chakdaha Police Station. Petitioners apprehend that they may be harassed, humiliated and physically harmed at the behest of respondent nos. 9 and 10. Having considered the police report I find that the parents and the son and the daughter-in-law are inimical towards each other. There is a possibility

of peace and tranquility being violated within the family. Petitioners would approach the appropriate authority under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. In the meantime for appropriate reliefs a limited period i.e. for a period of 15 days starting from 27th September, 2024 till 11th of October, 2024, the Inspector-in-Charge, Chakdaha Police Station would deploy a lady constable who would once in a day visit and submit a report relating to any harassment whether inflicted upon the present petitioners being senior citizens.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 20233 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending applications if any are consequently disposed of.
