Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Petitioner made an application for transfer in prescribed pro-forma in offline mode on general ground (distance). Application for transfer was made on 28th July, 2025 and the school authority where petitioner is presently working issued 'No Objection' certificate on 31st July, 2025 in favour of the petitioner. Transfer application of the petitioner was forwarded by the school authority to the concerned District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) on 31st July, 2025 and it is submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that office of the concerned District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) has received the transfer application on 4th August, 2025. Petitioner prays for direction upon the concerned respondent
authorities for consideration of her transfer application.

State respondents and West Bengal Central School Service Commission are represented by learned advocates.

In view of the aforesaid submission concerned District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) is directed to process the transfer application of the petitioner and if it is found that petitioner is eligible for transfer, shall forward the transfer application of the petitioner to the West Bengal Central School Service Commission by four (4) weeks from the date of communication of this order. 5.
On receipt of transfer application Secretary, West Bengal Central School Service Commission is directed to decide the same by six (6) weeks thereafter, in accordance with law. Decision to be taken by the Secretary of the Commission shall be communicated to the petitioner by fortnight thereafter.

It is made clear that suspension of portal shall not be a ground to reject transfer application of the petitioner.

Leave is granted to the learned advocate representing the petitioner to amend the cause title of this writ petition and add Secretary, West Bengal Central
School Service Commission as additional respondent in course of this day. However, service of notice upon the additional respondent stands dispensed with since Commission is represented today by learned advocate. 8.
With the above directions writ petition stands disposed of.
