Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, there is a counter complaint. The incident arose out of disputes relating to disposal of garbage. The petitioner also sustained injuries.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary including the statement of the injured recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.). The injured suffered grievous hurt. The injured implicates all the petitioners in the incident.

In view of the involvement of the petitioners in the incident, the gravity of the offence and the nature of injury suffered, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

In such circumstances, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 4221 of 2022 is dismissed.
