Pradipta Mukherjee v. State Of West Bengal And ORS.
17.07.2023 Item No.10 Ct. No.17 S.A.
WPA 20004 of 2022 Pradipta Mukherjee -vsState of West Bengal & Ors.
Mr. Gourav Das ...for the petitioner Mr. Ranjan Saha ...for the DPSC, Paschim Medinipur Learned advocate for the petitioner has requested another learned advocate Mr. Gourav Das to pray for an adjournment on his personal difficulty. However, on perusal of the order passed by this court it appears that on 24.04.2023 I directed the concerned District Inspector of Schools to file a report in the form of an affidavit disclosing the pupil-teacher ratio of the school where the petitioner is working now.
Today at the time of hearing I am told by Mr. Ranjan Saha, learned advocate for the DPSC, Paschim Medinipur that the said District Inspector of Schools has affirmed one affidavit and it is with the learned advocate Mr. Tarun Kumar Ghosh who appeared for the State in the matter on 24.04.2023. Mr. Tarun Kumar Ghosh has not appeared at the time of call and though the affidavit has been affirmed, it has not been filed before the court.
Therefore, no adjournment is granted in this matter.
I direct the learned Government Pleader to appear at 2 p.m. along with the report so that the matter can be effectively heard.
