The petitioner prays for setting up of a post office within the Khanakul-II Block under the Marokhana Gram Panchayat. The prayer of the petitioner stood rejected by the Superintendent of Post Office, North Hooghly Division, Chinsurah. The petitioner prays for reconsideration of his prayer.

I have perused the documents annexed to the writ petition. It appears that proper representation ought to have been filed by the petitioner before the competent authority. The representation which is annexed to the writ petition is a very sketchy one, bereft of materials in details.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by observing that it will be open for the petitioner to file a proper representation ventilating his grievance.

In the event such representation is filed, the same shall be considered by the concerned authority in accordance with the prevailing rules at the earliest.

The letter dated August 8, 2024 of the learned

advocate-on-record for the petitioner be retained with the records.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
