The petitioners complain of alleged inaction on the part of the Raipur Police Station, Bankura. It is submitted that despite repeated complaints of fraud and cheating by the private respondents, no steps have been taken. It appears from the records that the private respondents filed a civil suit being TS No.110 of 2018, which is now pending before the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 1st Court, Khatra. There was another partition suit between the parties being TS No.14 of 2015 before the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division) at Khatra, which has since been dismissed for default.

This Court is of the view that disputes between the parties are civil in nature. The parties may agitate their grievances before the appropriate civil or statutory forum. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
