The petitioner approached this court being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities because of the threats of the private respondents. The subject matter of the writ petition relates to incident of 17.03.2023 which was informed to the police authorities repeatedly till December, 2023. Having considered that there was a long standing dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents over a land and Title Suit being TS Case No. 299 of 2023 is pending and at the relevant point of time, police authorities drew up proceedings under Section 107/116 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, I am of the view that the police authorities at the relevant point of time took steps adhering to the provisions of law.

Learned Advocate for the State submits an action taken report, prepared by the officer in charge, Nowda Police Station. Let the same be kept with the record. No further directions are required to be passed at this belated stage. With the aforesaid observations, WPA No. 20298 of 2024 stands disposed of.
