Petitioner has enclosed the documents which she claims to be her stridhan properties and is retained by the accused persons. To that effect, Mr. Mukherjee, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner has drawn the attention of the Court to the receipts of the jewelleries which was gifted to her from her in-law's house.

State further submits that these documents were never handed over to the police authorities. Petitioner insists that a list was earlier submitted. State has produced the case diary wherefrom it reflects that a notice was issued to the petitioner to provide the copy of the purchase bills of jewellery, copy of the agreement between the petitioner and the accused persons, the bank statement relating to the transactions as well as any

additional documents available with the petitioner. Having regard to the fact that the investigation is still in progress and there is a difference between the accusations made by the petitioner relating to documents being submitted, and on behalf of the police authorities it is stated that such documents not being received, I direct that since the investigation of Watgunge PS Case No.

commenced on 05.07.2024, petitioner within a fortnight would hand over all the documents which are available in her custody. Police authorities would ascertain and assess regarding the foundational facts for arriving at their logical conclusion in support of the case.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 19436 of 2025 is disposed of.

Case diary be returned to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State.
