Petitioner is unaware regarding the outcome of the representation dated 09.05.2024 addressed to the Superintendent of Police, Hooghly Rural Police District.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that enquiry was conducted and thereafter nothing could be unearthed by the police authorities to corroborate the accusations made in the information furnished on 09.05.2024.

In case petitioner is facing similar inconveniences, petitioner would be at liberty to file fresh representation which the Superintendent of Police or his authorised officer would consider within a month from receipt of such information and inform the outcome of the same to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 19783 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
