1. Supplementary affidavit filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. Instruction forwarded by the Inspector-in-Charge, Tamluk Police Station signed on 29th November, 2024 is also taken on record.

3. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed as the District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur has already taken steps to consider his representation.

4. In view of such submission, there is no requirement of keeping the writ petition pending and, accordingly, the same stands disposed of.

5. The respondent authority shall take steps to conclude the enquiry proceeding, at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with law and by giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
