Petitioner is in custody for 150 days. He prays for bail. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits petitioner had absconded for seven years. There are materials connecting him with the murder. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner while on bail had absconded. Warrant of arrest was issued in 2014 and he was produced before the Court again in 2022. There are ample materials connecting the petitioner with the murder.
In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and conduct of the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
