The petitioners approached this court as they felt insecured because of the alleged overt acts at the behest of the private respondents.

Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioner no.1 is 64-year-old and the petitioner no.2 is 80% disabled and both of them are subjected to harassment for which they sought adequate police assistance.

State has submitted a report

which prima facie reflects that the petitioners are the tenants and are in possession.

Learned advocate for the private respondents also do not dispute the same.

Having considered the overall circumstances, I direct that, in case, the petitioners are faced with any inconveniences, they will report to the Officer-in-charge of New Market police station who will take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 19703 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
