1. Mr. Priyam Banerjee and Mr. Rupam Banerjee appellants appear in person. Mr. Debangshu Dinda, learned counsel represented the State.

2. This intra-Court appeal takes exception to the order dated 08.07.2025 passed in W.P.A.

13694 of 2025. The appellants in person raised two fold submissions. First submission is regarding providing protection during inspection pursuant to an order passed by learned Single Judge. During the course of hearing, he fairly admitted that in the previous order passed in F.M.A. 1443 of 2025, the protection granted by this Court will suffice. No further direction on this count is required.

3. The second grievance is that the appellants appeared before the Lake Town Police Station

on 4.4.2024 and submitted an application, which was not received by the concerned police officer, i.e. the respondent no.4. Against that inaction, the appellants have already preferred a complaint before higher police authorities on 5.4.2024 but till date, no action/decision has been taken.

4. In this view of the matter, we deem it proper to dispose of this appeal with the following directions:

(i) The appellants shall re-submit their aforesaid representation afresh along with copy of this order before Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bidhan Nagar City Police Headquarters, Salt Lake Stadium Complex, Kolkata. In turn the said authority shall consider and decide the said complaint in accordance with law within 30 days.

(ii) The outcome shall be communicated to the appellants.

5. With the aforesaid directions, the appeal and the connected application (I.A. No. CAN 1 of 2025) stand disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties

expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
