Petitioner submits he has been falsely implicated as he belongs to a different political outfit. He prays for bail. 2.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submits mobile phone and SIM card which were used to make ransom calls were recovered from the petitioner. Other incriminating articles have also been recovered. 3.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is a member of an organized crime racket which threatened local businessmen and demanded ransom under the

guise of being members of a banned organization. SIM card and other incriminating materials are recovered from the petitioner. In view of the nature of activity and the incriminating materials on record, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. 4.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Parties shall communicate a copy of this order to the trial court for due compliance.
