As directed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this court vide order dated 09.02.2023, the petitioner has effected service upon the State but in spite of being served there is no representation on behalf of the State.

Accordingly, Ms. Puspita Saha who present in court today is appointed to represent the State in this case. 3.

Learned Public Prosecutor is requested to regularized her appointment.

The present revisional application has been preferred praying for expeditious disposal of re-trial in GR Case No.283 of 2004 corresponding to T.R 158 of 2005 now pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, diamond Harbour, South 24 Parganas.

The proceeding before the trial court is for re-trial under Section 498A/494 of the Indian Penal Code.

Accordingly, the revisional application is disposed of with the direction that the learned Magistrate shall attempt to complete the re-trial within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order in accordance with law. 7.

All applications connected thereto stand disposed of.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

9.

Let a copy of the order be sent to the learned trial court for compliance.

10. Urgent Xerox certified copies of this order, if applied for, shall be supplied to the learned counsel for the parties as expeditiously as possible, in compliance of usual formalities. ( Shampa Dutt (Paul), J. )
