Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated. He was not named in the First Information Report.

Learned advocate for the state draws the attention to the statement of the eye-witness recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

In her statement the eye-witness implicates the petitioner squarely in the offences alleged against the petitioner.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. CRM 8745 of 2021 is rejected.
