Sri. Anindya Dasgupta Mr. Ajay Debnath ...for the petitioner A direction to secure expeditious disposal of Mat. Suit No.1845 of 2016, pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 4th Fast Track Court, at Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas, is the ultimate relief sought for this case.

The only contention expressed by the petitioner is against the delay caused in the disposal of the suit. As per submission disclosed by Mr. Ajay Debnath, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, that there is already direction passed by this Court in C.O. No.198 of 2021 with CAN 1 of 2021, to ensure expeditious disposal of the suit. It is gathered knowledge that cross-examination of P.W.1 is spanning over a year, and till date that has not been concluded. No other point is raised requiring address by this Court.

In view of the nature of order proposed to be made in this case, no prior notice is considered to be necessary.

Service upon the opposite party stands dispensed with.

Accordingly, learned Additional District Judge, 4th Fast Track Court, at Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas, in Mat Suit No.1845 of 2016, is requested to ensure expeditious disposal of the suit, providing sufficient opportunity of hearing to either of the parties to this case, but without granting any unnecessary adjournment, unless it is extremely unavoidable. While endeavouring such exercise, the crossexamination of P.W.1 may be concluded before the end of December, 2022, and the suit may be disposed of as expeditiously as possible, preferably before the end of April, 2023.

Petitioner is directed to make communication of this order to the learned court below as well as to the opposite party and his learned advocate in the court below.

With this observation/direction, the revisional application stands disposed of.
