The matter relates to pay protection of the petitioner for which he filed an application to the Commissioner of School Education on 12th March, 2021. The petitioner submits that his case is also pending before the District Inspector of Schools as copy thereof was sent to the said District Inspector of Schools. The petitioner works in Dum Dum Subhas Nagar High School.

Therefore, I direct the District Inspector of Schools to hold a meeting immediately of the petitioner and the private respondent no. 5 who is getting higher salary comparing to the petitioner. The meeting is to be concluded by three months

from the date of communication of this order and the District Inspector of Schools shall have an authority to hold the meeting for more than one day but not more than three days. The reasoned order in this respect should be passed by the District Inspector of Schools by two weeks thereafter and will be communicated to the petitioner and all other concerned who would be present in the meeting by two weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of. (Abhijit Gangopadhyay, J.)
