Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the case is yet to be committed and, therefore, the possibility of an expeditious trial is not there. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the case was committed and that February 21, 2022 is fixed for the purpose of production of the accused. Considering the grievances of the petitioner of delay in trial and considering the period of detention of the petitioner, it would be appropriate to request the Court in seisin of the trial to dispose of the trial as expeditiously as possible and without granting any unnecessary adjournments to any of the parties.

In view of the fact that there is hardly any change in circumstances from the earlier order of rejection and in view

of the steps taken by the trial Court as noted above, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Prayer for bail is rejected.

This application for bail is dismissed.
