State Of W B v. Jagjit Singh
06.04.2026
IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA
Item No.44 CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS JURISDICTION Ct.No.35 dc.
C.R.M. 7736 of 2017 In Re : An Application for cancellation of bail under Section 439(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. And In Re :
State of West Bengal ... Petitioner.
None appears for the petitioner/State or the opposite party.
The application for cancellation of bail was preferred in the year 2017. Lastly on 27.02.2026, an accommodation was sought for on behalf of the petitioner/State. In view of the petitioner not participating and the passage of time which has passed in the meantime, I am of the opinion that no interference is called for. Petitioner would be at liberty to take out fresh application, if there has been changed of circumstances. Accordingly, the application for cancellation of bail being CRM 7736 of 2017 is dismissed.
All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
