Allowed that the subject matter of the case relates to recovery of 10.358 kgs. of ganja and the petitioner is in custody for more than 8 months. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Having considered that intermediate quantity of ganja has been recovered in connection with the instant case and the period of detention, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Accordingly, the petitioner namely, Arunesh Choudhury shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned Special Court under NDPS Act cum Additional Sessions Judge, 3rd

Court, Asansol Paschim Bardhaman.

If on bail, the petitioner shall make himself physically available on each and every date so fixed by the learned trial court. Petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of Paschim Bardhaman without the permission of the learned trial court. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1057 of 2025 is allowed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
