Affidavit-of-service so filed be kept with the record. Petitioner complains that pursuant to the petitioner's daughter being abducted information was sent and subsequent to that Deganga PS Case No.382 dated 21.06.2024 was registered for investigation under Sections 363/365 of the IPC. Almost six months have passed, but the minor daughter of the present petitioner is not traceable.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that all efforts were exhausted by the police authorities, but till date the minor daughter of the petitioner has not been traced. Accordingly, I direct that the proceedings of Deganga PS Case No.382 of 2024 dated 21.06.2024 be transferred to the Anti Human Trafficking Cell/Unit (AHTU), CID, West Bengal.

Records of the case be immediately transmitted by the Deganga PS to the Officer-in-Charge of the said Cell. The said Cell would deploy an officer of his choice for progressing with the investigation of the case and put in efforts for recovery of the minor girl.

With the aforesaid observations, writ petition being WPA 20431 of 2024 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Memo of evidence so submitted be kept with the record. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
