Pursuant to the earlier direction, a report has been submitted which reflects that Dhaniakhali Police Station Case No. 20/2025 dated 21.01.2025 has been registered for investigation under Sections 341/323/34 of the Indian Penal Code and subsequently on completion of investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that his initial grievance in the representation was relating to the inaction of the police authorities which was particularly with regard to not taking steps against the private respondents.

In view of the fact that police authorities have registered a case and steps have been taken, I am of the view that no further order need be passed. However, having considered the history of an

inimical relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents, I direct the police authorities to keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of the peace or tranquility takes place and/or any untoward incident results because of such strained relationship.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 20397 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
