It has been pointed out that the petitioner is in custody from 04.06.2022 and in spite of such prolonged detention only 10 witnesses have been examined by the prosecution out of 22 witnesses cited in the charge sheet.

Learned advocate for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submits that there are clinching materials which are surfaced in course of evidence of the victim. Having considered the stage of the case, the materials which have surfaced, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 1478 of 2025 is dismissed.
