The petitioner approached this court as the representation made to the Officer-in-Charge of the jurisdictional police station did not take any action. Having considered that the said representation was submitted on or about 15.06.2024, I am of the view if till date no steps have been taken by the police authorities the petitioner would approach the jurisdictional Magistrate with specific prayers. Learned Magistrate would assess and ascertain regarding the genuinity of the allegations and thereafter pass necessary directions.

As none appears for the State, Mr. Raja Basu Banerjee's appointment should be regularized by the concerned authorities.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA No. 20391 of 2024 stands disposed of.

Parties shall act on the basis of server copy of this order duly downloaded from the website of this Hon'ble Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
