1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioners pray for a direction upon the Sub Divisional Officer, Tehatta to take steps for implementation of the decision taken by the authority for demarcation of the water body of Betai Chand Beel.

3. A detailed representation dated 11th July, 2024 is pending consideration at the end of the Sub Divisional Officer, Tehatta.

4. According to the State respondents, the work of demarcation was initiated but has not been concluded till date.

5. The instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Sub Divisional Officer, Tehatta to take necessary steps in terms of the resolution to demarcate the subject water

body in accordance with law at the earliest and conclude the same without any further delay.

6. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation along with all supporting documents to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
