Khan Mr. Amlan Kumar Mukherjee ..... for the petitioner Mr. Rajendra Chaturvedi ...... for the State Writ petitioner is an Assistant Teacher in a Government aided recognized secondary school, was appointed with Hons. Graduate scale of pay with effect from 2nd August, 2011. Writ petitioner acquired post graduate qualification in the relevant subject as submitted by Mr. Khan, learned advocate, appears for the writ petitioner in the month of March, 2011. Pursuant thereto, the Managing Committee of Ambi B.M. Girls' High School, Jhargram, adopted resolution in favour of the writ petitioner by making necessary recommendation for sanction of post graduate scale of pay in view of acquiring of such higher qualification. The writ petitioner made a detailed representation dated 20 August, 2019 before the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Jhargram seeking sanction of post graduate scale of pay in her favour. The grievance voiced on behalf of the writ petitioner is failure on the part of

the respondent authorities to sanction higher scale of pay.

Mr. Chaturvedi, learned advocate, appears on behalf of the State respondents and submits that if the representation is pending before the concerned District Inspector of Schools(SE), Jhargram, let the same be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the respective parties, the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Jhargram being the respondent No. 4 is directed to take a decision on the representation of the writ petitioner dated 20th August, 2019 within a period of 12 weeks from the date of communication of this order and shall pass a reasoned order. Before taking decision the respondent No. 4 shall give opportunity of hearing to the writ petitioner and the school authority where the petitioner is working. The decision to be taken by the respondent No. 4 shall be communicated to the writ petitioner within a period of 2 weeks thereafter.

With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
