The report reflects that on 27.09.2024, the accused persons, namely, Mahiruddin Saho @ Mayaruddin Shah, Mamataj Bibi Shaikh, Mallika Saho @ Mullaki Bibi Shah and Rabiul Shah @ Saho were granted anticipatory bail by the ld. Sessions Judge, Nadia.

The grievance of the writ petitioner was that the accused persons

are absconding and the police authorities did not take any step.

In view of the fact that the anticipatory bail has been granted by the learned Sessions Judge, Nadia, the accused persons are at liberty and are enjoying the liberty granted by the court and the purpose for which the writ petition has been filed, at the present stage, has become infructuous.

However, the petitioner would be at liberty to exhaust his remedies available under the provisions of the cr.p.c./BNSS, 2023, if he is aggrieved by the order of anticipatory bail passed by the learned Sessions Judge.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 20358 of 2024 is Disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be

handed over to the other parties.
