The prayer of the petitioner is for release order from the District Court of Bankura where the petitioner is presently engaged so that the petitioner can join the Jhargram Zilla Parishad where the petitioner has been offered.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that despite two representations made to the District Judge, Bankura dated 14th and 18th December, 2021, no response has been given to such representations and the petitioner has not been given the release order.

The State is represented.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the office of the District Court, Bankura, has refused service of the writ petition.

Upon considering the material on record, W.P.A.20834 of 2021 is disposed of with a request to the Office of the District Judge, Bankura, being the respondent no.2 to dispose of the representations of the petitioner upon giving an hearing to all relevant parties and passing a reasoned order by 7th January, 2022. It is made clear that if the petitioner is eligible for release order, there should be no delay on the part of any of the respondents to issue the release order to the petitioner. A copy of the release order may furnish to the petitioner within three days from the date of passing of the reasoned order.

Needless to say, since the petitioner has come before the court and complained of the prejudice caused by the delay on the part of the concerned respondents, the post offered to the petitioner shall be kept vacant till the petitioner can respond to the reasoned order.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
