1. Learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that, the electricity connection, as sought for, has been effected. Learned advocated representing the District Engineer, Calcutta South District, CESC Limited has filed a compliance report signed on 5th February, 2025 mentioning that, a metered supply in favour of the petitioner was effected on 5th February, 2025 by installing a new meter at the existing meter board.

2. The grievance of the petitioner regarding supply of electricity has been redressed by the authority.

3. There was a direction passed by this Court on 28th January, 2025 directing the respondent no. 6 to file an affidavit to show cause as to why proceeding under the Contempt of Courts Act shall not be initiated against her.

4. Learned advocate representing the respondent no. 6 prays for an apology and submits that, his client is an illiterate and uneducated lady and she did not properly understand the

direction passed by the Court. Prayer has been made to exempt her from filing the show cause. The apology tendered by the respondent no. 6 is accepted.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.
